In addition to performing as a tenor alongside such ensembles as The Monteverdi Choir and The BBC Singers, Gareth Treseder composes sacred choral works that have been commissioned and performed in the UK, America and Australia.

Other Christmas works, such as "A Song Was Heard at Christmas" and "Blessed be that Maid Marie" were recorded by the BBC Singers and subsequently broadcast on BBC Radio 3.
This choral Christmas Waltz was written for, and premiered by, Gorseinon Youth Choir in Swansea. Its liturgical premiere was given by St Margaret's Church Westminster Abbey, with whom Gareth Treseder sings as a tenor chorister. Written with the structure of a hymnal dance, the lilting melodies and countermelodies in the verses and choruses depict the inherent joy in Christ's birth and ultimate Ascension.
