Mass for the Death of a Prince: When the young prince of the house of Guise died soon after his marriage, followed by the death of his young son and mother-in-law, the family turned to Marc-Antoine Charpentier to write one of the most intimate and touching works of the French baroque. We will hear the Ensemble La Fenice from the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles.
