Ludwig Senfl: Was ist die Welt?

Switzerland's greatest composer has been woefully under-represented on disc. We are fortunate to present a new recording of lieder, the Missa Nisi Dominus, and motets including those for the Feast of the Ascension.

Cipriano de Rore

Born in poverty in Antwerp, few of the Flemish composers who made such a mark on European music had an impact as great as Cipriano--at the end of his life he went between Brussels and Parma, where he is interred beside the great artist Agostino Caracci.

Thomas Tomkins: Music Divine

One of the earliest fans of the program was the direct descendent of the composer who lived from the time of Elizabeth, through the Jacobean Era, and into the Interregnum. We dedicate this new first-time-ever recording of the much admired 1622 songbook of Tomkins to his memory.
