Over the last years, we have been tracking the superb project on the English Signum label with the Chapelle du Roi conducted by Alistair Dixon. This week, three CDs in two sets that finish the series: "Lamentations" and "Instrumental Music and Songs.".

Three Medieval Discs

We share three fine new recordings--the Ensemble Micrologus peformance of the Play of Robin and Marion; the Newberry Consort celebrates the Medieval Italian repertory; and the Early Music America 2004 award-winning ensemble Asteria with chansons from the Burgundian court of Philip the Good.
