Born in poverty in Antwerp, few of the Flemish composers who made such a mark on European music had an impact as great as Cipriano--at the end of his life he went between Brussels and Parma, where he is interred beside the great artist Agostino Caracci.

Preservation of this program is made possible by a generous grant in honor of Richard Bayer.
