In honor of St. Patrick's Day, the Hesperus Ensemble shares their latest recording, tracking relationships between medieval and Irish traditional instrumental music.

the recording The Banshee's Wail featuring our guest
Scott Reiss and the Hesperus ensemble. The co-director
of the ensemble, Tina Chancey, performs on gamba,
vielle, and lyra, and produced the recording. also featured
were Glen Velez, percussion, and Zan McLeod, guitar and mandolin.
